CAPture - Emulator Series

CAPture Emulator Product Series consists of Channel Emulator, Satellite Link Emulator, Troposcatter Simulator, AWGN, VLF Noise Generator. These devices are capable of emulating a real-world RF environment in the lab, making it possible to isolate and identify performance issues of RF communication devices and systems early in the development cycle. 


What is a Channel Emulator?

With the need of long-range communication increasing, it is imperative to use newer technologies without burdening the bandwidth of the existing satellites. Communicating over atmospheric channels has proven the long-range communication to be rightfully effective and ensured constructive outcomes. Required signal shall be communicated using the scattering effect of atmospheric channels.

With the Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) communication over atmospheric channels, arises various difficulties of channel impairments such as fading, path loss etc. due to scattering of the signal. Modems (Modulators & Demodulators) used in this technique necessitate comprehensive testing before deployed in the field. Channel emulation is most effective method to test the products in-house and validate. So that you will be rest assured that your RF communication systems function as intended in the real world.
